Installing Minecraft Mods
Modding your server is the best way to enhance the gameplay experience. This guide covers the basics for Forge and Fabric.
1. Change Server Version
First, ensure your server is running the correct modloader. In your panel, go to the 'Startup' or 'Version' tab and select either Forge or Fabric for your desired Minecraft version. Restart the server once to generate the necessary files.
2. Uploading Mods
Navigate to the 'File Manager'. You should now see a mods folder. Upload your downloaded .jar mod files into this folder.
3. Client-Side Requirements
Remember that players connecting to your server must also have the exact same mods installed on their own computers (unless they are server-side only mods).
